Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) Master Planning, Bangalore, India
This master plan aims to regenerate the natural landscape of the 100-acre south Bangalore site while supporting a vibrant “living-learning” environment for students. Built forms weave from the natural topography of the site, creating an open yet connected building fabric that houses academic programs. Student life programs such as cafeteria and fitness center are strategically placed where the strands intersect. Faculty offices and research facilities are housed in towers with deep shading fins, allowing natural ventilation and passive cooling. This design won first place in the invited competition for its integrated programmatic approach and sustainable site strategies.
